Former State Senator Mary Ann Handley will present an illustrated talk, “Perspectives on World War I: The United States Enters the War” in the Buchanan Auditorium at the Mansfield Public Library.
The program is free for MHS members, $3.00 for non-members.
This April marks the centennial of the United States’ entry into the conflict then known as the Great War. Sen. Handley’s presentation will establish a foundation for understanding the issues of this period and what led to our nation’s involvement in the war. Her talk will be followed by a question-and-answer period.
